Our Mission Statement

The Mackenzie Public Library is a center for information, education, and cultural enrichment. Its purpose is to provide a service to all members of the community without restriction.  By regarding, organizing, integrating, and disseminating a broad variety of materials, the Mackenzie Public Library endeavors to assist individuals to meet the demand of today's society and play an informed role in its growth.  The Library takes responsibility for the provision of and access to educational, cultural, recreational, and informational materials through widely varied media, with the main emphasis on print.
